frequently asked questions
Where are you based?
I work on a freelance basis from various locations in the Glasgow city area. For details of upcoming public workshop venues visit the Events page.
Can you host parties/events in any venues?
If you want me to host a party at your home or would like to organise your own suitable venue (e.g. a local town hall or community space) which is in the Glasgow area and easily accessible by public transport, then I would be more than happy to come to you! All I need to host a party or event is a table and chairs - I'll provide everything else. To discuss venue options for your party or event, please email email@example.com
How many people can I invite to my crafting party?
The maximum number of people I can accommodate at any one time is around 15 - 20 people. The exact number will depend on the venue's space, what the craft workshop involves, and the age of the attendees. I don't have a minimum number of guests, however.
When do your workshops run? And when can I have a party?
How much will my crafting party cost? And do I need to pay a deposit to secure my party booking?
Ticket prices depend on which craft you choose, and how many people you would like to invite. I always start my prices at the cost of 8 people, and any more tickets are simply added on to the starting price. You will need to pay a £30 deposit to secure a party booking. Prices of individual parties can be found on the Kids Parties pages of the website.
Does an adult need to supervise during a children's party or workshop?
Yes, to ensure the safety of everyone crafting I kindly ask that if any of the children participating in the workshop or party are under the age of 16 then at least one responsible adult over the age of 18 per booking stays in the crafting area throughout the duration of the workshop.
Who are your workshops and parties suitable for?
Our kids workshops and parties are suitable for ages 4+ and Lino Printing for Beginners is suitable for anyone aged 12+ (please check out the Kids Parties pages of the website for individual workshop age suitability). I do my our best to cater for any additional needs and work hard to make my workshops accessible for everyone. If you have any accessibility requests please just ask by emailing your enquiry to firstname.lastname@example.org
