Pull, squish and create all kinds of fun shapes with your own homemade slime!
Have some messy fun with your friends making your own slime in a variety of colours and textures.
You'll also customise your own cool container to keep the finished slime in!
What we'll do
Homemade slime is a gloopy variation of play-dough and silly putty, easily made from common household ingredients - PVA glue, Bicarbonate of Soda and contact lens solution.
In this workshop, everyone will make slime in a colour, texture and even smell of their choice. I'll provide a variety of materials to experiment with, including food colouring, glitter, foam beads (for 'crunchy' slime) and shaving foam (for 'fluffy' slime).
There's no need to provide containers - they'll get to decorate their own little jar to store their finished slime in, using with a wide range of craft materials.

Please note: Slime making involves the use of messy materials which can stick and stain some fabrics. Aprons will be provided but I would encourage wearing old clothes and tying long hair back if possible. I also provide wipe-clean table cloths to protect table surfaces, and would recommend hosting this activity in a room with as few soft furnishings as possible. Slime makes the perfect sensory toy and is safe for little hands to make but do remember that it isn’t edible, so keep an eye on youngsters.
